Get answers faster with Delve Detect

Simplify your meningitis/encephalitis workup. Identify infectious bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites using a single test.

Our Product

Traditional, targeted tests offer a frustrating guessing game with too many tests and too few answers. Metagenomic sequencing (mNGS) ends the cycle – in just 48 hours. Our free, easy-to-use kit enables overnight shipping of CSF samples at room temperature.

Real world evidence highlights clinical impact of mNGS (CSF)

From the largest cohort analyzed-to-date involving more than 4,800 patients, mNGS (CSF) provides more comprehensive microbial analysis than other infectious disease tests.1

437

pathogens identified

17.8%

positivity rate*

22%

greater diagnostic yield

*14.4% positivity when samples with multiple taxa are removed.

Prospective, multicenter clinical trial demonstrates the clinical actionability of mNGS2

Year-long, multi-center, prospective enrollment with over 200 patients from hospitals across the United States demonstrates actionability of mNGS results.2

54%

of clinical diagnoses made by mNGS alone resulted in treatment change

22.4%

of infections missed by standard microbiological testing

55%

of diagnoses were made using mNGS – alone or in conjunction with other testing

A diagnosis makes all the difference3

A 14-year-old with severe combined immunodeficiency developed an infection that progressed from a headache to seizures requiring a medically induced coma.

After multiple hospitalizations, more than 40 diagnostic tests and a brain biopsy, there was still no clear answer on what was wrong.

Finally, a mNGS CSF test was ordered.

Within hours, mNGS identified a bacterial pathogen (Leptospira), despite previous negative microbiological testing. 48 hours after treatment started, the patient was conscious. He was home and back to normal within a month – thanks to the accurate diagnosis mNGS provided.
